I believe my business grew because the key to success is complete customer care. Over the years I have had some very satisfying times with my customers. There was the time I opened the shop at 5:00 a.m. to accommodate a customer whose husband had suffered a heart attack and after days of non-stop hospital duty she came to me to have her nails repaired. She needed a little pampering herself about then, and a shoulder to lean on.

Another time I remember was when the Mayor's wife called last minute to book a set of nails for a mutual friend, whose son had been tragically killed in a car accident. Without a second thought, I called my scheduled customers, explained the situation and was able to accommodate the emergency. The comfort I could provide at that moment was unequaled to any other gesture I could have given her. It's wonderful to know that a day at my Salon can boost a woman's self-esteem and bring a small measure of healing into her life.
